Motion & Animation motion with reason

2D/3D motion graphics, title sequences, logo animation, and explainer videos with cinematic timing and detailed craft.

● INTRO

Good motion design feels like choreography — every element enters at a chosen moment, never because it can.

We work on motion from 3-second logo animations to 90-second title sequences for product launches. The philosophy is the same: timing and easing considered one by one, never the After Effects defaults pinned to every keyframe.

For brands operating in the upper tier, motion design becomes the layer that decides perception. A logo arriving too fast feels cheap. A transition too slow feels exhausting. We spend our time in milliseconds — that is where the difference lives.

Our toolset is flexible: After Effects for 2D and compositing, Cinema 4D for 3D, Houdini for more complex simulation. But tools do not decide the output. Choices about timing do.

Good animation is not remembered as animation. It is remembered as a moment that felt right.
● PROCESS

How we work.

STEP 01

Brief & Style Frame

A visual reference workshop, then 2–3 static style frames to lock the aesthetic direction before motion begins.

STEP 02

Pre-Animation

Storyboard timing chart, 2D/3D asset prep, voiceover recording (if any), and rough animatic for pacing approval.

STEP 03

Animation

Full execution in After Effects or Cinema 4D. Every easing considered, never default. Render tests for staged approvals.

STEP 04

Sound & Delivery

Sound design, mix, and multi-format delivery — broadcast, digital, square, vertical for social.

● DELIVERABLES

What you receive.

● FAQ

Common questions.

01Can we use our own illustrator/designer for assets?

Yes. We accept assets from external designers and handle the motion. Send vector files (AI/SVG) with separated layers.

02What is the difference between 2D and 3D motion graphics?

2D uses illustrator-style assets animated in After Effects — ideal for explainers, infographics, and lighter branding. 3D is for product shots, environments, and projects that need physical depth.

03How long does a 60-second explainer take?

Estimate 4–6 weeks brief to final, depending on asset complexity and how many characters need illustration.

04Does Mooilux provide voiceover?

Yes. We have a VO talent network for Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Mandarin. Casting and recording at partner studios in Jakarta.

05How is music licensing handled?

By default we use licensed library music (Musicbed, Artlist, Marmoset). For original score, we have composer partners with separate fees.

06Can you export to Lottie for web?

Yes, for 2D animation that is not too complex. Lottie is ideal for micro-interactions, icon animation, and web loading states.
